Classic Margarita—Shake 1 oz. JABnow Organic Lemon Lime drink mixer; 3 oz. water, 2-3 oz. white tequila, ½ to 1 oz. orange liquor (optional), ice; salt for glass rim. Makes 1 cocktail. Garnish with lime slice.
Frozen Strawberry Margarita--Just add fresh, cleaned strawberries (2-3 per cocktail) and all the ingredients in Classic Margarita above in a blender.
Mango Margarita--Just add fresh or frozen mango with all the ingredients in Classic Margarita in a blender. One fresh mango will make 3-4 Mango Margaritas. If using frozen use about 2-3 slices per cocktail.
Grapefruit Margarita--Shake 1 oz. JABnow Organic Grapefruit Lime drink mixer; 3 oz. water, 2-3 oz. white tequila, 1/2 to 1 oz. orange liquor (optional), ice. Salt the rim of the glass or sugar it for this margarita. Garnish with grapefruit segments. Makes 1 cocktail.
Melon Ball Margarita--Just replace orange liquor in Classic Margarita with any melon liquor. Make frozen by adding all to blender with ice.
Peach or Nectarine Margarita--Just add frozen peach slices or fresh peach slices to Classic Margarita above in a blender.
Sangria Margarita--Just add some Sangria to your mix or the blender; about 2 oz. per cocktail. JABnow makes fabulous Sangria. Here's our basic recipe:
Red or White Sangria
To one bottle of good red or white wine wine, add 1/2 bottle of JABnow lemon lime mixer; 1/3 cup orange liquor, fresh sliced fruit such as apples, oranges, limes and lemons. Enjoy over ice.
Spicy Margarita--Just replace the orange liqueur with Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano liqueur. Garnishes include salt with chili powder, basil and Szechuan peppercorns (in cocktail).
You can add any fruit to the Classic Margarita for a fabulous fruit margarita. Fresh kiwi, any melons, cucumber, pineapple, pomegranate (fresh or juiced) and blueberries and basil together are great too.
Grill and spice up your margaritas by grilling some fresh pineapple and jalepenos for them and blending all with the classic margarita. Rim with salt peppered with chili.
Make any margarita a frozen one by adding more ice in the blender until desired consistency.
Don't forget the garnishes--salted rims, sugared rims, lime wheels, and whatever fruit you are using is always a great garnish.
